About
Charlie has always had a special relationship with photography. There is in fact a photograph of him at age 4, holding an old Agfamatic in his hands . However, it was at 15 years old, when he was able to handle a camera with more ease, that he began a self-taught journey, using all available media to nourish his photographic culture and develop his skills.
Already passionate about 1980s Hollywood cinema and Japanese animation, Charlie experimented with compositions attempting to capture atmospheres and emotions, both in his daily life and in street scenes, playing with situations and light.
At 17 years old, video naturally added itself to his interests. It was toward this specialty that he oriented his higher education, following a “Arts du spectacle” (Performing Arts) license at the University of Lorraine from 2015 to 2020. During this period, he alternated between years of study, civic service, and a gap year to develop his associative projects, notably a student web TV with reports from film festivals, including Cannes. He also created his own audiovisual production micro-company.

Professional Experience
The numerous shoots that Charlie participated in sparked in him the desire to deepen his understanding of professional productions. He then sought to collaborate with several production companies as a still photographer on set, a position he considered ideal for realizing this ambition.
Thanks to his network and the appreciation of his work as a videographer, Charlie had the opportunity to work as a still photographer on set. Combining his sensitivity, discretion, interpersonal skills, and love for cinema, he presented work to which directors and filming crews were very responsive.

Ambitions
Working closest to the director’s intention, Charlie was able to capture an communication orientation in images, notably participating in the design of film posters, but also creating precious memories for the filming crew.
His ambition is to bring a unique perspective to each project, in order to ensure an artistic and effective visual communication identity for the film. Charlie is enthusiastic about continuing to evolve in this fascinating universe and sharing his perception through still photography on set.
